Halloween
Those of you who are my FaceBook friends have already seen it, but here is what David and I wore for Halloween. I was Marla Singer, and he was Dr. Tobias Fünke.
Unlike last year, for which we really schemed, these costumes came together at pretty much the last minute. Fun times.

Please, please tell me that Tobias had a couple of streaks of blue somewhere?!
That is my favorite gag on that show. In a scene that's totally unrelated, there's a smear of blue on a cabinet door. It makes me laugh just thinking about it.
Oh, yes, he definitely blue himself! Here's a detail.
And, yeah, the smeared cabinets... Michael's shirt after Tobias insists on hugging him... and the scenes where he's tracking Lindsey, in his blue camouflage... So much goodness!
ha! i have to confess that your costume, while great, would have been one of those i wouldn't have immediately "gotten", since i only saw fight club once. i saw a lot of costumes on our obligatory halloween outing that had me blank-faced; i assumed they were characters in movies i had either not seen or forgotten.
Haha! Awesome Tobias! I'm so glad he blue himself too! Great verisimilitude. You look awesome except I don't know who Marla Singer is.
Yeah, my costume was sort of esoteric--and not even necessarily all that well done! Also, can you believe that Fight Club came out 11 years ago already? Dressing as a character from that film makes Tobias--from a show canceled four years ago--look downright contemporary!
Thanks for the compliments, though! This shot doesn't do full justice to my hair--which ended up ridiculously ratty and full of most of the travel-sized can of hairspray I bought for the purpose.
it's sad, but i just now can "get" tobias. just started watching season one as of two weeks ago. and you look great!
Ahhh! How exciting that you're watching Arrested Development, Mandy! I actually found it a bit slow to get into, but so many of my friends had recommended (and quoted!) it to me that I stuck with it--until I found myself thoroughly addicted. =) Enjoy!
LOVE the Tobias--that must have been fun.
Tobias: Although, perhaps I should call the 'hot cops' and tell them to come up with something more nautically themed ... 'HOT sailors' ... or 'hot sea-ma'.
Michael: I like 'hot sailors'
Oh, Brian, you make me laugh! Awesome.
