You know the temperature difference between 80 and 70 degrees?
That's the same difference between the temperature in my apartment this morning and the optimal one for a refrigerator.
But the chilll hleps my brain fnctiun.

the year i taught freshman comp i lived in a converted one-car garage. not converted into much, but with a floor, shower, sink and no insulation.
fortunately utilities were free. so were the ants and spiders. mmm.
i feel your pain.

i love the last line...the first time i read it totally wrong, in that i spelled everything correctly in my mind. maybe the chill does help my brain function since i'm usually not a good speller.
